Main Task: Mock music magazine work - Cover page mock up

When I produce my actual cover I will include cover lines, however with these I didn't produce all  three of the covers with cover lines as I wanted to see what the covers looked like with out the cover lines. However I did include the masthead in the same position on every cover. The colours that are used on the covers will carry on to the background colour of the contents.  

I have added a iTunes Festival logo to the Arctic Monkeys cover to show what the magazine will contain. This is to show what it looks like with these sort of designs on them.

I asked peers on what their opinions and thoughts of the covers were and they said:

Peer one said: All the covers follow the same house style and that the colours of the backgrounds don't clash with the pictures.

The peer also said that the cover seems like their is too much dead space, it could be filled with infromation that relates to the stories that the magazine will contain.

Peer two said: The logo of the Arctic Monkeys mock up cover, it looks like it blends into the clouds. Also they like the fact that the logos on all covers didn't clash with the background colours and that they stood out (which is the main focus of logos).

However the second peer said that a bad aspect is that on the Arctic Monkeys cover, the cover detail makes it look messy.
